The Lady Anne Victorian Inn

The Lady Anne is a Queen Anne Victorian home built in 1888 and sits on a hill overlooking Humboldt Bay. The Lady Anne is now an eco-inn, which features organic and local products and uses no harsh chemicals inside and out. We compost, recycle, and have solar and gray water systems. The Inn has a beautiful garden which features a labyrinth and children's garden and many native plants as well as a variety of roses.

Sam is the former mayor of Arcata and enjoys connecting people with the local business and university communities. Conveniently located just blocks from Humboldt State University, the Arcata Forest, the Plaza and the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Preserve, you can enjoy hiking and sample delicious local food without getting in your car. Our goal is to create a relaxing and healthy environment while striving for zero waste.

The peace and solitude of this quiet college town combine with the natural beauty of the area and the grace of this restored Victorian mansion to make this a perfect respite from your fast-paced life. Come to the Lady Anne and leave refreshed.

Rates range from $115 to $220 (based on double occupancy). The Sarah Angela and Jennifer Katherine are two separate rooms, but we often rent them together at a reduced price for three people or two couples traveling together.

We look forward to your visit and will do our best to make it a delightful one.
